Effective date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website at queensburyinsulation.com, or by requesting services from Queensbury Insulation (located at 92 Vandusen Rd, Queensbury, NY 12804), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or request our services.
Queensbury Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in Queensbury, NY and surrounding areas. Services include, but are not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related work. All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured professionals.
Written estimates are provided free of charge following an on-site assessment. An estimate is valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates are based on the conditions observed at the time of assessment. If conditions change or additional work is needed once a project begins, we will notify you and obtain your approval before proceeding with any work that falls outside the original scope.
Verbal price quotes given over the phone or by email before an on-site visit are estimates only and are subject to change once an in-person assessment is completed. A written estimate supersedes any prior verbal communication.
Appointments for estimates and service work are scheduled by mutual agreement. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as early as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
If you cancel a confirmed project after materials have been ordered or equipment reserved specifically for your job, we may retain a deposit or charge a restocking fee, as stated in your written agreement. This will always be disclosed to you before you accept an estimate.
Payment terms are outlined in the written estimate or service agreement. Unless otherwise specified in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted forms of payment will be communicated at the time of estimate.
Accounts that remain unpaid beyond the due date stated in the invoice may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to pursue collection through lawful means, including reporting to a collections agency or pursuing legal action, for accounts that remain unpaid after reasonable collection efforts.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas of your property where work is to be performed. This includes clearing stored items from attics, crawl spaces, or basements as directed before our crew arrives. You agree to inform us of any known hazards on the property, including mold, pests, asbestos, or environmental concerns, before work begins. Failure to disclose known hazards may affect the scope of work and could result in additional costs.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any warranty on labor and workmanship will be stated in your written service agreement. Warranty terms vary depending on the type of service performed and the materials used.
Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to you where applicable. These warranties are governed by the terms set by the manufacturer, not by Queensbury Insulation. Workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by subsequent modifications to the work area, water intrusion from sources unrelated to our installation, pest activity, or normal wear and tear.
Queensbury Insulation carries full liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that is the subject of the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of income, or damage to personal property not directly caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed or visible at the time of assessment. Our maximum liability under any circumstances will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services in question.
The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties of any kind regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the information on this site. Use of information from this website as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation is at your own risk.
If a dispute arises between you and Queensbury Insulation, we ask that you contact us directly at projects@queensburyinsulation.com or (518) 645-9154 first. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to pursue mediation before any formal legal action. Nothing in this section limits your right to file a complaint with the appropriate consumer protection authority.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms or from services provided by Queensbury Insulation shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of New York.
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If a material change affects an existing service agreement, we will notify you directly before the change takes effect.
